A blast at Behringer-Crawford Museum

Northern Kentucky treasure, Behringer-Crawford Museum, invited us to present a "Secret Cincinnati" program on November 24, during Shop Small Saturday. What an enjoyable afternoon.

We had a great group of interested people, including a retired beautician, who enjoys spending time trekking all over Cincinnati in search of hidden gems, and three sisters, who all happened to be left-handed. (What are the odds?) We talked a lot about the secrets to be found within Devou Park (all included in the Secret Cincinnati book) with the help of a Trivia Contest. Two kids snapped up the prizes.

The holiday toy trains were running at the museum and the Dickens Village was on display, which added a layer of festivity to an already fun day. The museum has a number of events planned, including the Hills of Kentucky Dulcimers performing seasonal music on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2-4 p.m. and Strolling Carolers dressed in Victorian garb filling the halls of BCM with holiday song on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2-4 p.m.

The museum is carrying the Secret Cincinnati book in its gift shop, along with a lot of really cool other items. Stop by one of the museum's fun holiday events!
